FEATUREPOS & KIOSK · FOR PARTY BOATS

Fill the empty seats before you leave the dock.

For party boats and other trips that sell by the seat. Your staff sell at the counter or from the Captain app, and guests can buy on a kiosk themselves. Every seat comes off the same count as your online bookings.

HOW IT WORKS

Walk-ups count too.

Online or at the dock, every seat comes out of one count, so the boat never oversells.

  • AT THE COUNTER

A point of sale for the counter

Pick the departure and how many seats, add the guest's name, and take payment. Enter the cash they hand you and it works out the change.

  • AT THE DOCK

    Sell from your phone

Open Sell in the Captain app, pick the trip and how many seats, and take payment. The seats come off right away.

  • KIOSK

    Guests check out by themselves

Put a kiosk screen on the counter. Guests pick today's trip and pay by card, then scan a code to keep their ticket on their phone. If you use waivers, they sign there too.

  • QR CODE

A code to scan at the dock

Print a QR code for the dock or the ticket window. Guests scan it and book today's trip on their own phone.

  • PAYMENT

    Cash, card, or their phone

Take cash, run their card on your own card reader, or hold the seats while they pay by card on their phone.

  • ON THE MANIFEST

    Everyone on one list

Counter, kiosk, and online sales all show up on the same manifest.

QUESTIONS CAPTAINS ASK

POS and kiosk questions.

Can walk-up sales oversell the boat?

No. Walk-ups and online bookings come out of the same seat count, so the counter, the kiosk, and the Captain app can only sell the seats that are left.

Can I take cash?

Yes. Record cash at the counter or in the Captain app, and the party goes on the manifest. They can also pay on your own card reader or by card on their phone.

How does the kiosk work?

It runs on a screen you set up at the counter. Guests pick a trip that's still selling today, choose how many people, pay by card, and get a booking reference. They scan a code to keep the ticket on their phone, where they can save it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Do walk-ups sign the waiver?

If you use waivers, yes. Walk-ups sign on their own phone at the dock, and the Captain app shows who still needs to sign.
