I'm not good with computers. Can I still use this?

Yes. We set up your boats, trips, prices, and booking page for you. After that, most days you'll only open the app to check people in and send the trip photos.

I use another booking system. Can you move everything over?

Yes. Send us an export from your current system, and we'll move your trips, prices, and upcoming bookings over for you. You can keep using your old system until everything is ready.

How soon can I start taking bookings?

Most charters are set up 24 to 48 hours after they send us their trip details and photos. You look everything over, and then you're ready to take bookings.

What does my customer pay, exactly?

The trip price, or a deposit if you take one, plus a small booking fee at checkout. They see the full total before they pay.

Can I still take bookings by phone?

Yes. Add phone bookings from the Captain app so every trip is on one schedule. If you text the customer a payment link, they pay the small booking fee when they pay. If they pay you cash, there's no booking fee.

Can I keep my FishingBooker or other listings?

Yes. Keep every listing you have. Hookset is for the bookings that come in on your own website, and you pay no commission on those.

What happens when weather cancels a trip?

Move the trip to a new date or cancel it from the app. Every guest gets a message telling them what changed and why. You decide whether they get a refund or a new date.

How do I get paid, and when?

Payments go to your own bank account, usually about two business days after each payment. We help you connect it when we set up your account.

I already have a website. Will Hookset work with it?

Yes. We add booking to the site you already have, so customers can pick a trip and pay without leaving it. No website yet? We can custom build one for your charter.
